Pixel, Gidget, Nova and Quark came in with 4 other very young female rats from Southern Illinois.  They were taken in from a person who was no longer able to take care of his pets.  They are less than a year and are very cute and soft.  They are very shy and while they are not mean or aggressive, they are very scared and will need someone who is willing to continue to work with them on trusting people.  They love their treats and veggies (current favorite is the gerber puffs).  They seem to use the litter box as well but still need some work there.  They are very reliant on each other and while they can be split up they have to go in pairs.  Rats are very social and need to be in groups so it is best to keep them in pairs at minimum.  

Their adoption fee is $35 for a pair ($60 for all 4)
