Splash and Phyllis came in with 152 other parakeets to animal control from a hoarding case.  They are a sweet male and female pair who, while they enjoy other birds company, are also enjoying not having such a large flock and plenty of space to fly and explore.  They love to hang on their swing and play with their toys.  They are healthy and talkative (chirping) when you enter the room or talk to them.  They have finally discovered millet and a cuttle bone.  They don't seem bothered by dogs, cats, or kids checking them out either.  Parakeets are very social and these guys should really be adopted as a pair.
